Is John Sending Feelers To Salman To Avert Box-Office Clash?
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... Welcome Back producer Firoz Nadiadwala requests Sallu to push Hero's release
You know the first question that strikes us when we hear of 2 films clashing at the box-office - who will blink first?
Looks like the same question is running in John Abraham's minds too. His Welcome Back is all set to clash with Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty's launch pad Hero.
Of course, we all know who is producing the film. Yep, Salman Khan. That makes it John versus Sallu.
In fact, Salman announced the release date of Hero in a dramatic fashion on Twitter. 'Back off' he tweeted as he claimed September 4 as his project's release date (Salman threatens John to back off, July 7). This, when John had announced the same date for Welcome Back's release on Twitter, a few days prior to this.
Surely, John is aware that his film has a tough battle ahead. Plus, given his cold war with Salman, things may only go downhill for him and his movie. So, Welcome Back producer Firoz Nadiadwala has come in the picture.
SpotboyE.com has it that after Baba Siddique's Iftar party, the producer went to meet Salman at Mehboob Studios in Bandra, Mumbai. We hear, he requested Salman to change the release date of Hero. Not just that, he even told the star that if it's too difficult for him to accommodate the change, Nadiadwala himself will try and push his film's release ahead.
Athiya too was a part of the meeting.
Now the question is, will Salman budge? Or will John and Nadiadwala have to give in?
